MTEK and Microsoft build on its recently announced collaboration

Microsoft and MTEK recently announced its Collaboration to extend digitization of core operations, increase scalability and flexibility and drive AI adoption in Manufacturing. 

 

The strategic collaboration is aimed at extending digitization of core operations with its flexible MBrain MES/MOM platform. Microsoft and MTEK will also drive adoption of AI in Manufacturing by leveraging MBrain’s nuanced and contextualized data to create more shop-floor value faster.

We are thrilled to be a part of the adaptive cloud evolution, and with the launch of Azure IoT Operations our platform solution now enables a secure control plane for all our clients who seek full control of their edge deployments within their native Azure Resource Manager. Together, MTEK and Microsoft components form a cohesive and innovative solution that drives agility, operational excellence, and a competitive advantage in today’s dynamic business landscape.

The MBrain solution is a web-based platform that can be deployed on the edge, as a hybrid solution (back hauling data into the cloud with a hot edge server) or in the cloud (either ours or yours) to support many different prerequisites. Our solution is built upon modern technology, utilizing infrastructure as code, monitoring services, and database architectures to enable a safe and trusted container-based cloud native environment.

 

Integrated with this platform is an advanced digital architecture designed to optimize business operations and enhance decision-making. The MBrain MES installation provides robust manufacturing execution capabilities, ensuring seamless management of production processes. Complementing this setup with brand new Azure IoT Operations, guarantees real-time monitoring and data collection from IoT devices, facilitating predictive maintenance and boosting operational efficiency.

 

On the enterprise resource planning (ERP) front, Microsoft Dynamics deliver comprehensive management of financials, supply chain, and customer relationships. Adding a digital production System

MBrain is centered around the production Method; the way and order, in which a product is built in a factory. This structure, built on the logic of the production flow, enhanced by the human centric activities and adding machine and sensor data allows information from across IT, OT as well as material and operators, to truly gel.
 

The new addition of Microsoft’s Azure IoT Operation enables us to perform a faster deployment while still allowing for both Cloud and Edge optionality. This creates a more flexible and secure environment as well as greatly enhanced control over which assets and how they are connected to the digital production system. 
 

To gain true benefit and create interconnectivity between different software throughout the manufacturing method we also introduce Mint, a no-code integration platform, that enables a client to create and manage their business process integrations on a no-code basis.
 

These three components creates a digital production system that truly supports IT / OT convergence at its core, while retaining security and flexibility in the commissioning and evolution of the system.
