MTEK Industry AB Secures Strategic Debt Financing from SEB, Almi, and Norrlandsfonden to Accelerate Growth and Extend Technology Leadership

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Alfta, Sweden – 18 March – MTEK Industry AB ("MTEK"), a leading provider of MES/MOM software for the manufacturing software industry, is pleased to announce the successful closing of a significant debt financing package from SEB, Almi, and Norrlandsfonden. The debt facility will support MTEK's continued operational expansion, enhance its delivery capabilities, and further solidify the technological leadership of MBrain, its innovative Digital Production System (MES/MOM+), in the global marketplace.

MTEK's MBrain platform is rapidly establishing itself as the premier software solution for manufacturing and assembly operations. Leveraging a no-code approach, MBrain delivers unparalleled time-to-value benefits, revolutionizing the digitization of complex manufacturing assembly operations and reshaping the industrial software landscape.

Mattias Andersson, CEO of MTEK, emphasized the urgency of adaptation in the manufacturing domain, stating, "The world of manufacturing is moving extremely fast right now. Whether it's the proliferation of artificial intelligence, requiring highly nuanced and contextualized datasets to deliver its full potential, or the evolving geopolitical landscape imposing new demands on manufacturing companies, MBrain is a tool that will enable companies to navigate these challenges and transforming them into opportunities. We are thrilled to partner with SEB, Almi, and Norrlandsfonden to bring our vision to fruition."

Henrik Steinholtz of SEB Growth remarked on the company's achievements, "MTEK is emerging as a market segment leader not just in the Nordic region but globally. The company has been instrumental in supporting the emergence of some of our most successful and fastest-growing industrial ventures in recent times. At SEB, we work closely with several key industrial players in the region and understand from them the impact that MBrain can have on the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector in this fast-changing environment."

Oscar Wallner, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Strategy at MTEK, expressed his enthusiasm about the deepening partnership, "We are delighted to deepen our partnership with SEB, Almi, and Norrlandsfonden through this credit facility. For MTEK, this represents a significant endorsement of our vision and trust in our company. Sweden has a legacy of being a strong industrial nation and, more recently, a hub for software and innovation. MTEK merges these two legacies to emerge as a Swedish global champion in industrial software. We look forward to leveraging this partnership for continued growth both domestically and internationally."

Eva Sarlind of Almi shared her perspective, "Almi has been a partner to MTEK throughout its journey. We are fascinated by the innovation and drive within the company and they have become an important player in the region that we are supporting. We look forward to what this facility enables."

Johanna Ceder from Norrlandsfonden added, "We are thrilled to be working with MTEK. MTEK embodies the spirit of innovation and growth within the manufacturing sector that is sweeping across Northern Sweden. The region offers unique characteristics for physical production, and that it is also fostering a global emerging software champion for manufacturing simply makes sense."
